In order to ensure that Uniconnect is accessible for diverse students, we need proper user testing with students using a variety of assistive technologies:
Accessibility Testing with Screen Readers
-----------------------------------------
1. Test using popular screen readers to ensure all interactive elements, navigation, and content are readable and accessible.
2. Test that the navigation flows of the screen reader are logical and users receive feedback about form submissions, errors, and other key actions.
Collecting Feedback from differently abled Students
1. Collaborate with students representing different categories of disabilities, such as visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive.
2. Apply a structured process on feedback to extract information based on specific accessibility issues and other issues that are evident when the system is in use in the real world.
Accessibility Across Diverse Devices and Browsers
-------------------------------------------------
1. Test the platform on all devices-from desktops to laptops and mobile-for consistency in accessibility issues and resolve those.
2. All accessibility features need to function across all devices and all browsers.
